Jagannath University Film Society (JNUFS), founded in 2009, is one of the most active student organizations in the film festival movement of Bangladesh. As a member of the Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies, it has been promoting cinema as an art form and creating a new generation of audiences through screenings, festivals, workshops, and publications.

JNUFF is the flagship national film festival organized by JNUFS, celebrating cinema from across the nation and beyond. Held across multiple venues, the festival showcases the work of emerging filmmakers and features screenings, workshops, and discussions judged by renowned juries, inspiring creativity and critical thinking in film culture.
Amader Cinema is a signature program of JNUFS dedicated to showcasing Bangladeshi cinema. Each year, it screens recently released and popular, successful, or critically acclaimed films, along with underrated gems that deserve greater recognition. The initiative provides a platform for filmmakers while engaging Jagannath University students and fostering appreciation for cinema as an art form.
35mm Festival is an intra-university short film exhibition organized by JNUFS, dedicated to showcasing films made by students of Jagannath University. Many of these works have earned national and international recognition at film festivals, reflecting the creativity and talent of our young filmmakers.
Muktir Chobi is a special program of JNUFS that highlights films on the Liberation War of Bangladesh. Through screenings and discussions, it aims to preserve the memory of 1971, introduce younger generations to cinematic portrayals of the struggle, and inspire reflection on the values of freedom and independence.
Content Fest is a creative showcase organized by JNUFS, featuring original works by students of Jagannath University. Based on a specific theme each year, the festival highlights photography, videography, poster design, and other visual storytelling forms. The best entries are recognized with awards, encouraging young creators to explore and celebrate their artistic voices

Cineframe is the official annual magazine of the Jagannath University Film Society, showcasing articles, reviews, and creative works by students.
